Explore Kamshet Beyond Paragliding
Make the most of your trip. Beyond paragliding, Kamshet is surrounded by historic forts, serene lakes, and hidden caves.

Pawna Lake
The most famous camping spot near Kamshet. Perfect for a post-paragliding evening by the bonfire. The lake offers a stunning backdrop of Tikona and Lohagad forts.
Pro Tip:Best visited during sunset. Try the local lakeside BBQ.

Bedse Caves
Less crowded than Karla or Bhaja, these 1st-century BC Buddhist caves are famous for their magnificent stupas and sunrise views. A short 400-step climb gets you there.
Pro Tip:Visit early morning (6:00 AM - 8:00 AM) for the best lighting.

Lonavala & Khandala
The twin hill stations offer waterfalls, Tiger Point views, and the famous Lonavala Chikki. Ideal for a full-day extension of your Kamshet trip.
Pro Tip:Avoid weekends if possible to skip heavy traffic on the old highway.

Visapur Fort
Famous for its waterfall staircase during monsoons, Visapur is a trekker's paradise. It stands higher than its twin, Lohagad, and offers a massive plateau with ancient ruins.
Pro Tip:Wear high-grip shoes. The climb is moderate but can be slippery.

Shinde Wadi Hills
The spot where paragliding history in Kamshet began. It's a small plateau used for basic training and offers a 360-degree view of the surrounding greenery.
Pro Tip:Perfect for a quick evening walk if you aren't doing a full trek.

Uksan Lake
The quieter cousin of Pawna. Uksan is a pristine, crystal-clear lake surrounded by dense forests. It's the perfect spot for a peaceful picnic, bird watching, or a quiet dip away from the tourist rush.
Pro Tip:There are very few shops here, so carry your own water and snacks.

Kondeshwar Temple
An ancient stone temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, located in the middle of a forest. The architecture is stunning, and there is a beautiful waterfall nearby that comes alive during the rains.
Pro Tip:The road can be bumpy; a vehicle with good ground clearance is recommended.
