Maharashtra has a handful of paragliding spots — but for tandem joyrides that run reliably, every road leads to Kamshet. The Pawna valley’s steady winds, open landing fields and highway access have made it the state’s de facto flying hub for two decades.

Sites like Panchgani or Purandar see occasional flying, but Kamshet is where certified tandem pilots operate daily through the season — and where flyers from Pune (45 km), Lonavala (19 km) and Mumbai (~100 km) all converge.

A tandem flight needs nothing from you but a few running steps: certified pilot, helmet, harness and GoPro are all included in the ₹2,999–₹4,499 packages. You fly 8–15 minutes over the lake and fort-dotted ridges of the Western Ghats.

The season runs October to May with morning and afternoon slots. Whether you are a Maharashtra local or visiting the state, Kamshet is the simplest, safest way to get airborne.
