Kamshet tandem flights launch from the hills around Pawna Lake — mainly Tower Hill and Shelar. Which one is used is decided each morning by wind direction, so the site you get is the one the sky chooses. Both give the same core experience: a few running steps, then the valley opens below.
Tower Hill
The better-known launch — a clean, open take-off slope overlooking Pawna Lake, used when the wind favours its face. The climb up by jeep is part of the fun, and the view from the top is worth the trip even before you fly.
Shelar
The other regular site, on a different aspect — used on days when wind direction suits it better. Same Pawna Lake views, same tandem format; for a passenger the experience is essentially equivalent.
How the day’s site is chosen
Pilots read wind direction and strength each morning and pick the face that allows a safe, clean launch. You are messaged the exact take-off point a day before — that is why we do not promise a specific hill in advance.
Does the site change the flight?

- Views differ slightly; both look over Pawna Lake and the Sahyadri ridges.
